Personalized Imaging Firm
Put Your Prospect’s Name in Lights
This firm wanted to show that variable data printing (VDP) had arrived as a viable way to break through direct mail clutter.
They set up a booth to show the 62,000 attendees of the PRINT 2005 trade show in Chicago just how the technology worked. A live demonstration of personalized, variable, real-time, Web-to-print was created on the spot.
The intent was to gather sales leads and change attitudes about VDP. Show attendees were impressed with the final personalized products. The system created a calendar with each interested lead’s name in lights at Wrigley Field and on a street sign. Everyone at the show was sharing the calendar and commenting on its uniqueness.
